New York, N.Y. April 21, 2016 – Heading over to TechDay NYC at Pier 94 on a bright sunny Thursday afternoon, I had no idea of what I was in store for. Lined up next to the venue, a large crowd stretched down along the sides of the building. Yet, it wasn’t just the impressive amount of people but the level of enthusiasm of those waiting in line. Upon traversing the daunting crosswalk across Manhattan’s West Side Highway to the opposite side, it was clear that TechDay NYC is more than a conference — it’s a phenomenon. Even from the outside, it possesses a uniquely elevated level of excitement mixed with creative energy. Once inside, I was frankly overwhelmed by its sheer massiveness. It took a few moments for my brain to absorb the seemingly infinite number of startups, company sponsors, and attendees. As I traveled from section to section it was literally like moving between one technological sector to another. Not only were the products fascinating, they were all by top level companies & innovators. TechDay is an outstanding networking event, inarguably the best of its kind in the US. The open accessibility combined with the best of technology & innovation creates an event where brilliant minds can meet and exchange ideas. Even just a few hours at the conference is time well spent, if not simply for exposure to some of the world’s greatest companies and ideas. TechDay NYC is a direct reflection of New York’s burgeoning Tech community and it’s stronger and more vibrant than ever.
